Anthony Forchielli is a lighting designer for theatre, dance, opera, concert and events. Anthony is interested in theatre as an opportunity. While every piece is unique, his work is often rooted in essentialism, and explores the intersection of movement and shadow.

Anthony's work has been seen across the country including Seattle Rep, ACT (San Francisco), Chicago Shakes, Quintessence Theatre, Milagro Theatre, and Windy City Playhouse. As a Senior Designer at Lightswitch, he also works extensively in live events designing E-sports, corporate events, and concerts.

Anthony holds a BFA and MFA from DePaul’s Theatre School Conservatory and Northwestern University respectively, and was the 2019 Gilbert Hemsley Lighting Internship recipient, where he assisted at NYC Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, and San Francisco Opera. He is currently an adjunct professor at Northwestern in the stage design program.
